A Turkish hamam is one of the experiences we recommend trying at least once while in Istanbul. Getting Around Istanbul
Istanbul has a large public transportation system, and visitors can use a combination of metro, tram, ferry, buses and taxis.
Taxis & Ride Apps
Taxis are widely available, but traffic can be heavy, especially during peak hours. For travelers who prefer not to navigate public transportation, taxis or pre-arranged transfers can be convenient.

Cruise the Bosphorus

The city's official ferry operator, Şehir Hatları, offers short, long, and seasonal sunset/moonlight Bosphorus cruises.

Cross Over to the Asian Side
One of the coolest things about Istanbul is that you can visit two continents in one day!
Take a ferry from the European side to neighborhoods such as Üsküdar or Kadıköy. The ferry ride itself is part of the experience and offers beautiful views of the European and Asian skylines.
